WHEREAS, Croix Oil Company seeks to construct a pylon sign within the required <br />"visibility triangle"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if the <br />conditions identified below are met; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />VARIANCE to § 1012.03 (Traffic Visibility) to allow a pylon sign within the "visibility triangle" <br />and a VARIANCE to § 1005.01 (General Requirements in Business Districts) to allow the <br />construction of a pylon sign in a location not less than 10 feet from the property line adjacent to <br />County Road D and not less than 8 feet from the property line adjacent to Cleveland Avenue, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The pylon sign must not be closer to any right-of-way than the existing sign. <br />2. The variance shall expire within 6 months of its approval if a building permit is <br />not issued pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Bakeman, Boerigter, and Doherty; <br />and none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />2 <br />
