REQUEST FOR VARIANCE BOARD ACTION <br />DATE: 08/2/06 <br />ITEM NO: 4b <br />Department Approval: Agenda Section: <br />BL/TRP PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Item Description: Request by Thomas McDaniel far a VARIANCE to §1016 (Wetlands) of <br />the Roseville City Code to allow a principal structure encroachment into the <br />required setback from a wetland at 527 Owasso Hills Drive (PF378'n <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1.1 Thomas McDaniel seeks a variance to § 1016 (Wetlands) of the City Code to allow the <br />construction of an addition onto the rear of his home. The proposed addition would <br />encroach approximately 15 feet into the required 50-foot setback from a wetland. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />• Application submitted: September 6, 2006 <br />• Determined complete: September 8, 2006 <br />• Sixty-day review deadline: November 5, 2006. <br />• Project report recommendation: October 4, 2006. <br />• Anticipated Variance Board action: October 4, 2006. <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATION: <br />2.1 The Planning Division recommends DENIAL of a VARIANCE to §1016 (Wetlands) for <br />Thomas McDaniel at 527 Owasso Hills Drive.
