Consider a Preliminary Plat for Art Mueller at 2201 Acorn Road (PF 3791) <br />Maschka moved, Ihlan seconded, tabling action on this request; and authorizing staff to <br />provide written extension of the 60-day review period for this land use case. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Kough; Maschka and Ihlan. <br />Nays: Klausing. <br />Mr. Stark, noted that discussion on lot splits was programmed for the November 20, 2G06 <br />City Council Study Session. Mr. Stark advised that staff had identified only approximately 75- <br />100 single-family lots in the entire community that had characteristics allowing for subdivision; <br />and that most of those were in a pattern. Mr. Stark advised that staff would have the <br />information available for the City Council, and would seek policy direction in those areas. <br />Councilmember Pust also requested that additional research be provided from other <br />communities, as gathered by staff and/or individual Councilmembers, to allow an in-depth <br />discussion and in order to keep the discussion process moving. <br />Councilmember Maschka concurred; noting that he and staff had held lengthy discussions to <br />date, and also desired to keep the review process moving. <br />Mr. Stark requested that Counciimembers provide their research information to staff for <br />copying and discussion at that meeting. <br />City Attorney Anderson advised that he would work with staff, and have the proposed <br />moratorium language available for action at the November 27, 2006 regular Council meeting. <br />Council consensus was affirmative; with the preliminary report available for Council <br />discussion and review at the November 20, 2006 Study Session. <br />
