REQUEST FOR CIT'Y COUNCIL ACTION <br />t Approval: City Man�ager A <br />DATE: 03 / 12/07 <br />ITEM NO: S.h <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br />Item Descriprion: Consideration of a 1�40TION approving a submittal deadline for a FINAL <br />PLAT — Art Mueller 2201 Acorn Road (PF3791). <br />1.0 REVIED of REQUEST: <br />'� 1.1 On January 29, 2007 the Roseville City Council approved the PRELIMINARY PLAT for <br />�� Art Mueller, which land division divided his _ acre parcel located at 2201 Acorn Road <br />=� into 4 single family residential lots with a public cul-de-sac street. <br />� <br />�, 1.2 Since that date Mr. Mueller has been working with a consultant (Brad Wilkening - <br />� Hokanson Anderson Associates, Inc.) on final design plans. However in a letter dated <br />� February, the consultant requested a extension to the FINAL PLAT submittal requirement <br />�� due to the potential that some design elements may take longer than 60 days to complete. <br />� i� <br />�� <br />�� <br />13 <br />� ��a <br />�5 <br />1 f> <br />1.3 § 1102.01 F(Final Plat — Final Plat Submission) states: After approval of the preliminary <br />plat by the Ciry Council, the owner or subdivider shall, within 60 days thereafter, submit <br />to the City a new application for final plat approval. Unless given an extension, the <br />failure to submit a complete application for final plat approval within the 60 day period, <br />shall nullify the approval of the preliminary plat. In such case the applicant may reapply <br />for preliminary plat approval. <br />l, <br />� x 1.4 The City Planner has reviewed the request and supports the 6 month extension being <br />� �� sought by Art Mueller and his consultant. <br />�o <br />� � 2.0 <br />�, 2.1 <br />?3 <br />� �.� <br />2> 3.0 <br />?c� 3.1 <br />�� <br />SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATION: <br />The City Planner recommends approval of a 6 month extension to § 1102.01 F(Final Plat <br />— Final Plat Submission) from March 29, 2007 to September 29, 2007. <br />SUGGESTED ACTION: <br />BY MOTION, APPROVE an extension to § 1102.01 F(Final Plat — Final Plat <br />Submission) of the Roseville City Code for Art Mueller, 2201 Acorn Road PF3791. <br />PF3791_RCA_031207.doc Page 1 of 1 <br />
