EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1 St day of November, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and Doherty. Variance Board Member poherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: VB RESOLUTION NO. 48 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR THE TRANS, 296 SOUTH M�CARRONS BOULEVARD (PF3794) WHEREAS, the Trans have requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residential Districts) to allow a principal structure encroachment into the required front yard setback; and WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 296 South McCarrons Boulevard, and legally described as: ROLLING GREEN LOT 34, BLOCK 1 PIN: 13-29-23-42-0032 WHEREAS, Section 1 U04.01 E requires a 40-foot setback for principal structures from the property line; and WHEREAS, the Trans seek to reduce the steep slope of the driveway by constructing, at a lower grade, a new attached garage with living area above; and WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if the conditions identified below are met;
