<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 23, 1999, at 6:30 <br />o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall and the <br />following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wall introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9678 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT P-SW-99-14 <br />LARPENTEUR AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION AND STREETSCAPE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City ofRoseville adopted February 9, 1999, <br />receiving the feasibility report and scheduling a public improvement hearing for the Larpenteur <br />Avenue Reconstruction and Streetscape Project P-SW-99-14; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that <br />in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council <br />held a public hearing on August 23, 1999, to consider the proposed construction of Project <br />P-SW-99-14, consisting of the reconstruction project by Ramsey County ofLarpenteur Avenue <br />rrom Arona Street to Oxford Street and the City ofRoseville's Streetscape project rrom Hamline <br />Avenue to Oxford Street as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at <br />$5,382,007 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof <br />which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested <br />persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed <br />and financed and that the improvement be constructed substantially as recommended in the <br />feasibility report. The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project <br />and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the <br />improvement. <br />
