EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 23, 1999, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Wall and the following were absent: none. Councilmember Wall introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9678 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT P-SW-99-14 LARPENTEUR AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION AND STREETSCAPE WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City ofRoseville adopted February 9, 1999, receiving the feasibility report and scheduling a public improvement hearing for the Larpenteur Avenue Reconstruction and Streetscape Project P-SW-99-14; WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on August 23, 1999, to consider the proposed construction of Project P-SW-99-14, consisting of the reconstruction project by Ramsey County ofLarpenteur Avenue rrom Arona Street to Oxford Street and the City ofRoseville's Streetscape project rrom Hamline Avenue to Oxford Street as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $5,382,007 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed and that the improvement be constructed substantially as recommended in the feasibility report. The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement.
