<br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of September, 1999 at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski & Goedeke, and the following were <br />absent: Wall. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9683 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO <br />ADJUST THE PROPOSED TAX LEVY FOR BONDED DEBT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City needs to adjust the proposed 2000 debt levy for debt service and for <br />improvements and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City will be required to make debt service payments on General Improvement Debt <br />in 2000 and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are reserve funds sufficient to reduce the levy for General Improvement Issues <br />Series 17,18,19,20,21,22 and 23 in the amount of $1,902,660.27. Series 12,14,15, and 16 have <br />been called and are no longer outstanding <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, <br />that <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Auditor be directed to decrease 2000 tax levy for General Improvement Debt <br />by $1,902,660.27, which is being paid by debt service reserves or are for debt issues no longer <br />outstanding and to decrease the allocation of the tax levy for improvements by $25,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Mastel and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Mastel, Wi ski & <br />Goedeke, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
