Approve Agenda <br /> Interim City Manager Trudgeon requested an addition to the agenda for consideration of <br /> a Special City Council Meeting on Monday, July 1, 2013; with Mayor Roe suggesting the <br /> addition to Agenda Item 15 entitled "City Manager Future Agenda Review." <br /> Councilmember McGehee requested a brief discussion of Agenda Item 7.e entitled, "Di- <br /> rect Staff to Advertise Vacancy on Human Rights and Police Civil Service Commis- <br /> sions." <br /> McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak at this time. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced an upcoming concert, sponsored by Trite to the Troops and Be- <br /> yond the Blue Ribbon, as a benefit for The Fallen Heroes Education Fund to assist with <br /> college expenses for the families of fallen heroes. The benefit concert is scheduled on <br /> Sunday, July 23, 2013 from 5:00— 6:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills location of North Heights <br /> Lutheran Church. <br /> Mayor Roe announced several upcoming Parks &Recreation Renewal Program commu- <br /> nity meetings for various parks; with additional information available on the City's web- <br /> site or by calling City Hall. <br /> Mayor Roe also reminded residents of the upcoming Rosefest festivities from June 22 — <br /> 29; as well as the Fourth of July celebration at Central Park on July 4, 2013. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> a. Recognize Girl Scout Gold Award Winners <br /> Mayor Roe recognized several Girl Scouts in their achieving the Girl Scout Gold <br /> Award as follows, none of whom were available for tonight's meeting: <br /> Hannah Kiresuk, who developed a unique and fun education program for ele- <br /> mentary students in which she shared her own knowledge and expertise about <br /> honeybees, and developed recourses in a variety of media to further enhance <br /> learning and allow other s to continue the activities; <br /> Alyssa Mumm, who worked with her church to develop ideas to get fifth and <br /> sixth graders involved in their community as well as have fun, by developing age- <br />
