<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 11 th day of October, 1999, at <br />6:30 p.rn. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, Wall <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9697 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE <br />LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, is a participant in the Livable <br />Communities Act's Housing Incentives Program for 1999 as determined by the <br />Metropolitan Council, and is therefore eligible to make application for funds under the <br />Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified proposed projects within the City that meets the <br />Demonstration Account's purposes and criteria; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to <br />ensure adequate project administration; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and <br />regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal <br />sponsor for projects contained in the Demonstration Account applications submitted on <br />October 11, 1999; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to <br />the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville as a requirement <br />of submitting a grant application and to execute such agreements as are necessary to <br />implement the project on behalf of the applicant upon final review by the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Wiski, Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall, and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Q:\Planning Files\3160JPA Grant Acceptance\Resolution 10.11.99.doc <br />
