Based on their input and further review of the details of the previous
Conditional Use Permit approval, the only way to formally regain approval for your proposed
accessory structure is to seek a new conditional use approval. The City Code unfortunately does
not offer any simpler options.
While the bad news in all of this is that the process comes with another application fee and a
timeline that puts approval by the City Council in late August. On the more positive side, it
would seem that if the details of the application are the same as in 2007, then the Council may
once again look on your request favorably. To that end, I have your application form and we're
on track to bring it to the Planning Commission meeting of August 5, 2009; if the location of the
proposed building hasn't changed from your previous application you wouldn't need to send me
a new site plan, but I would need you to confirm by July 13`h whether you plan to move forward
with the application.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7073.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive : Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 . www.ci.roseville.mn.us/development
