--.
June 10, 2010
McAdam Majors
1863 Chatsworth Street
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear McAdam,
1

Roseville's Development Review Committee (DRC), a interdepartmental panel of staff
members, met today to discuss your garage proposal. While there's general support for your
application for approval of a 1,008-square-foot garage as a conditional use, the following
additional pieces of information have been requested:
• A revised site plan showing only the house, proposed garage, and the paved driveway
area that will remain after ensuring that the impervious surface area on the property is
within the 30% limit I mentioned in my May 26`h letter.
• An anticipated timeline for the removal of the existing garage and any driveway/parking
area pavement. The Building Official noted that the new garage could be completed prior
to the demolition of the existing garage, but that it might become something of an
obstacle for the equipment involved with the removal of the existing structure.
• Sketches of what you expect the exterior walls of the new garage to look like. These
don't have to be precise drawings, but they'll help the Planning Commission and City
Council better understand your proposal.
I'll be out of the office for the next couple of weeks, but the City Planner, Thomas Paschke, can
help you while I'm gone (and you should send him the above materials as well so that they're not
sitting, unnoticed, in my mail slot or my email inbox). If you have any questions, please feel free
to call or email Thomas at 651-792-7074 or thomas.paschke@ci.roseville.mn.us.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive ❖ Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 :• www.ci.roseville.mn.us/development
