<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, December 13, 1999, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski, Mastel and Wall; and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9719 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />FOR 2000 CONTRACT A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the City Public Works Director has <br />prepared plans and specifications for the following Improvements and has presented such plans and <br />specifications to the Council for approval: <br /> <br />CONTRACT A: <br /> <br />City Project No. M-98-11 <br />Dale Street! Roselawn A venue/ Reservoir Woods Trail <br />SP No. 160-090-05 <br />TEAX 6200(248) <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official <br />newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for 2000 Contract A shall be <br />published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of <br />cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and <br />Public Works Director as follows: <br /> <br />2000 Contract A <br /> <br />April 4, 2000, at II :00 a.m. <br /> <br />at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and <br />subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and <br />filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable <br />to the City of Roseville for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br />
