Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: July 23, 2013 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Projects update: <br />• 2013 Pavement Management Mill and Overlay Project- The Contractor is substantially <br />complete with this contract <br />• Storm Sewer Lining — The 73 inch pipe at B and Dale St is lined. Work on the pipe in the <br />intersection of County Road B -2 and Hamline Avenue will be completed once we get a dry <br />period. <br />• 2013 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project— The Contractor is almost done with the 7 miles <br />scheduled for lining this year. There is less than one mile to complete yet, the majority of <br />which will be night work. This work will be completed by the end of July. <br />• Waterman lining project— The project is underway again. The temporary water system will <br />be connected on Rice early the week of July 22, and access pits will be excavated in <br />preparation for lining. Lining is scheduled to begin on Rice Street the week of July 29. Work <br />on Rice Street is anticipated to take three to four weeks to complete. <br />• County Road D Reconstruction — Work has started on the east segment of this project <br />between Chatsworth and Victoria Street. <br />• Villa Park Sediment Removal Project— Work has started on sediment removal in the most <br />southerly cell of the treatment system. This project will be going on for most of the summer. <br />• Xcel Gas Main Replacement Project- This project has begun with work at County Road B <br />proceeding south. Work will continue to proceed south along Rice St. with restoration <br />completion in early September. A temporary trail was constructed on the Maplewood side for <br />pedestrian traffic during construction. <br />• County Road B -2 Pathway Construction- Staff continues to work on plans for this project. <br />• Staff is also working on the following projects: <br />• Wheeler Avenue Traffic Management Project <br />• Utility Extension at 3040 Hamline Avenue <br />• McCarron Lake Sub watershed Drainage Improvements <br />Maintenance Activity: <br />• Streets Crews have been consumed with the storm damage clean up from the June 21st wind <br />storm. This project will wrap up except for trimming damaged branches on boulevard trees. <br />• Utility crews performing annual sewer cleaning. <br />Attachments: <br />A. None <br />
