Announcements, Agenda Adjustments, Recognitions, Correspondence, and Comments <br />a. Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair Sponsor Recognition <br />Housing Manager Jeanne Kelsey introduced a representative of Alpha Handyman, present at <br />tonight's meeting and one of the sponsors of the 2013 Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair. <br />Chair Maschka recognized the sponsors of the event, and personally presented�a` plaque to <br />Alpha Handyman, and expressed appreciation for their support of this event. <br />b. 2012 Roseville Green Award Program <br />Ms. Kelsey introduced Jamie and Gabe Becker -Quinn and their son, a d reviewed their recent <br />purchase of an existing home, demolition of that structure, and co struction of�a new home <br />meeting numerous energy conservation efforts. Ms. Kelsey adv*sed that the family had been <br />an <br />the top winner of the Roseville 2012 Green Award Program, <br />from the RHRA. d would receive a $500 check Ms. Becker -Quinn provided a brief summary of their uae // of structurally insulated panels rather <br />than typical framing, air source heat pump in aflflition to a/ ibrnace, phone application to <br />change thermostats off -site, dual flush toilets, and an Energy Star certified HVAC system; all <br />toward their family's efforts to make these life -time decisronsto reduce their carbon footprint. <br />Chair Maschka congratulated the Becker -Quinn family and tharr�W them for their example for <br />others, and their efforts, and presented the Living_ Smarter /Green Award as a token of <br />appreciation from the RHRA. <br />5. Community /Citizen Comments <br />None. <br />6. Consent Agenda F <br />Executive Director Patric Trudgeon briefly reviewed Consent Agenda items. <br />a. Adoption o contracts fp�r- fiscal, staff and executive director services between the HRA and the <br />City of Ro /seXiille for 2613 W0123) <br />• Approve the service contract with the City of Roseville to provide financial and <br />accounting s�rvices based on 5% of the 2013 HRA Budget set at $174,538.00, with the <br />amount of $8,727.00 prorated quarterly for 2013; <br />• -- App ove the service contract with the City of Roseville for administrative staff support <br />services at 1,040 "hours annually for $30,345.00 prorated quarterly for 2013; <br />• Approve the service contract with the City of Roseville for full -time staff support services <br />(Housing Program Manager) estimated to be $102,905.00 prorated quarterly for 2013; and <br />• Approve the service contract with the City of Roseville for staff support services <br />(Executive Director) allocated at $21,063.00 prorated quarterly. <br />b. Acceptance of Housing Resource Center (HRC) 2012 Report <br />C. \Acceptance of 2012 Abatement Report <br />d. 1,%Affirm continuation of Stephen Bubul, Kennedy Graven, as RHRA Attorney; authorizing the <br />HRA Executive Director and the HRA Chair to enter into a contract for Attorney services for <br />2013 based upon staff recommendation. <br />e. Affirm continuation of Sheila Stowell as Recording Secretary for the RHRA; at the rate of <br />$23.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. <br />t' Adopt contract with Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC) for the Housing <br />Resource Center services for 2013; with the fee of $13,000.00 for Construction Management <br />services, with other loan service fees paid by the loan applicant. <br />
