The City has received an application for a 2013 Liquor License as follows: 3 <br /> 4 <br /> Fantasy Flight Game Center – On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License 5 <br /> 6 <br />Neither State Statute nor City Code limits the number of licenses that can be issued for On Sale & 7 <br />Sunday licenses. 8 <br />P OLICY O BJECTIVE 9 <br />The regulation of establishments th at sell alcoholic beverages has been a long-standing practice by the 10 <br />State and the City. 11 <br />F INANCIAL I MPACTS 12 <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees is used to offset the cost of police compliance 13 <br />checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license administration. 14 <br />R EQUESTED C OUNCIL A CTION 15 <br />To set public hearing for September 9, 2013 to consid er approving/denying the requested liquor license 16 <br />for calendar year 2013. 17 <br />Prepared by: Chris Miller, Finance Director <br />
