<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the24th <br />day of April, 2000 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn and the <br />following were absent: Wiski <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9764 <br />RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIEW PERIOD FOR KRAUS-ANDERSON <br />REALTY'S REQUEST FOR A CONCEPT AND FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />TO REZONE HAMLINE CENTER FROM SC, SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT, TO B-PUD, <br />BUSINESS PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED <br />AT 2797 TO 2833 HAMLINE AVENUE NORTH, CITY OF ROSEVILLE (PF 3199). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kraus-Anderson Realty has requested CONCEPT development plan approval <br />and FINAL approval of a Planned Unit Development Agreement rezoning Hamline Center fÌ'om SC, <br />Shopping Center District, to B-PUD, Business Planned Unit Development (PF3199); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 2000, the Planning Commission considered this request from <br />Kraus-Anderson Realty for a mix of community and business uses including day care facilities, <br />churches, schools and charitable gambling (by conditional use after separate hearing); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal calls for the renovation of portions of the existing Hamline <br />Shopping Center structure and introduction of charter school (K-8) and day care uses along the <br />west side of the existing building and, later, charitable gambling-bingo (by a separate hearing and <br />conditional use permit) within the space previously occupied by a grocery store; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 2000 the Planning Commission, after deliberation, continued the <br />public hearing on this proposal to a special meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at <br />6:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, (the "City") Ramsey County, Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, the time <br />line for agency review of the application of Kraus-Anderson Realty for the CONCEPT and FINAL <br />Planned Unit Development to rezone Hamline Center fÌ'om SC, Shopping Center District, to B-PUD, <br />Business Planned Unit Development, is hereby extended up to a 60 day extension for the completion <br />of the Final Approval stage from May 8, 2000 to July 10,2000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, <br />Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
