<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on <br />Monday, the 24th day of April, 2000, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn, and the following <br />members were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9765 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 2000 PMP CONTRACT B <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on <br />Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at 11 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T. A. Schifsky and Sons <br />Central Landscaping <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br /> <br />$1,377,240.34 <br />$1,476,963.32 <br />$1,798,563.20 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons of North St. Paul is the lowest responsible bidder <br />at the tabulated price of$I,377,240.34; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T. A. <br />Schifsky and Sons for $1,377,240.34 in the name of the City ofRoseville for the above <br />improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall <br />be retained until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />3. Award Segment l/Neighborhood 32 contingent upon receiving an executed agreement between <br />Rose of Sharon Manor and the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn and the following voted against: <br />None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
