Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approximately <br /> 6:00 p.m., and welcomed everyone. Voting and Seating Order: Willmus; Laliberte; Et- <br /> ten; McGehee; and Roe. City Attorney Mark Gaughan was also present. Finance Direc- <br /> tor Chris Miller served as Acting City Manager for tonight's meeting, with Interim City <br /> Manager Patrick Trudgeon on vacation. <br /> 2. Approve Agenda <br /> Acting City Manager Miller requested removal of Consent Item 7.m entitled, "Set Public <br /> Hearing to Consider Approving an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Fantasy <br /> Flight Game Center at 1975 West County Road B-2, Suite 1;" for further staff due dili- <br /> gence and potential action at an upcoming meeting. <br /> Councilmember Willmus requested removal of Consent Item 7.i, later correcting his re- <br /> quest for removal of Consent Item 7.1 entitled, "Consider approving Joint Powers Agree- <br /> ments with the City of Birchwood Village;" for discussion purposes. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak at this time. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements <br /> Councilmember Etten thanked the City Police and Fire Departments for their participa- <br /> tion in this year's family Night Out events throughout the community; with concurrence <br /> by Mayor Roe. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> a. Proclaim September 27, 2013 as Golden K Kiwanis Peanut Day <br /> Mayor Roe invited representatives of the North Suburban Golden K Kiwanis <br /> Club, headquartered in Roseville, to share about their organization in general and <br /> this specific fundraiser. Kiwanis Club President Bill Flynn introduced members <br /> present, including Vice President and in Charge of Publicity Steve Forshay, and <br /> Vern Eidman, Head of the Peanut Committee. President Flynn spoke of the or- <br /> ganization's ongoing support and involvement with the Roseville Parks & Recrea- <br />
