307 <br />At the request of Chair Vanderwall, Ms. Bloom advised that there were no <br />308 <br />existing easements in place. Chair Vanderwall opined that if there was <br />309 <br />something already available, and no private property owner was interested in <br />310 <br />giving up any land, the PWETC or City should not spend time evaluating the <br />311 <br />options. Chair Vanderwall further opined that, this segment didn't actually <br />312 <br />provide that much of a shortcut. <br />313 <br />314 <br />Member Gj erdingen noted that it would provide an option to avoid County <br />315 <br />Roads B or C -2; with Chair Vanderwall noting that there was an existing off - <br />316 <br />road pathway on County Road B -2 that would allow park access. Member <br />317 <br />Gj erdingen opined that, even if protecting the shoreline, that existing pathway <br />318 <br />had a significantly steep grade, and the dirt trail was in bad shape, dissipating <br />319 <br />into nothing. <br />320 <br />Page 8 of 11 <br />
