<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, May 22, 2000 at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn, and the <br />following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Council member Maschka introduced the. following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9770 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE IN <br />AWARDING 1995 CONTRACT B, SEGMENT 2 FOR <br />S.A.P. NO. 160-228-06 AND S.A.P. NO. 160-234-03 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, awarded 1995 Contract B, Segment 2 to Central <br />Landscaping on February 13, 1995; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the resolution awarding the bid for mill and overlay did not have the required <br />statement "This award of bid is subject to the State Aid approval of the project"; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the State Aid Engineer gave State approval for the project in May, 1995; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the State Aid Engineer was unaware that the City had already awarded the <br />contract to Central Landscaping without the required statement of State Aid approval; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that <br />the Mayor and City Manager approves a variance request in awarding 1995 Contract B, Segment 2 <br />for S.A.P. No. 160-228-06 and S.A.P. No. 160-234-03. Also, all future award of bids will have the <br />following statement, "This award of bid is subject to the State Aid approval of the project". <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Mastel, upon <br />a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke <br />and Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared dilly passed and adopted. <br />
