EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, May 22, 2000 at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn, and the following were absent: none. Council member Maschka introduced the. following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9770 RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE IN AWARDING 1995 CONTRACT B, SEGMENT 2 FOR S.A.P. NO. 160-228-06 AND S.A.P. NO. 160-234-03 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, awarded 1995 Contract B, Segment 2 to Central Landscaping on February 13, 1995; AND WHEREAS, the resolution awarding the bid for mill and overlay did not have the required statement "This award of bid is subject to the State Aid approval of the project"; AND WHEREAS, the State Aid Engineer gave State approval for the project in May, 1995; AND WHEREAS, the State Aid Engineer was unaware that the City had already awarded the contract to Central Landscaping without the required statement of State Aid approval; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that the Mayor and City Manager approves a variance request in awarding 1995 Contract B, Segment 2 for S.A.P. No. 160-228-06 and S.A.P. No. 160-234-03. Also, all future award of bids will have the following statement, "This award of bid is subject to the State Aid approval of the project". The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Mastel, upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared dilly passed and adopted.
