<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 12th day of June, 2000, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka & Kysylyczyn and the following <br />was absent: Goedeke. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9780 <br /> <br />EXTENSION OF WORKING HOURS FOR <br />2000 CONTRACT Á- DALE STREET TRAIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor, T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. has requested that the start time for the <br />working hours for the Dale Street Pedestrian underpass be extended from 7:00 am to 6:00 am on <br />weekdays and Saturday; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor would like to maximize the use of daylight hours for construction <br />activities and allow for his crews to be able to set up and get down to work earlier; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the duration of the working hour extension will only be for the ten day closure of <br />Dale Street for the construction of the Pedestrian Underpass; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the closure of Dale Street is expected to take place June 19 to June 29,2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, if the Contractor does not meet the timeline for the construction of the underpass, <br />liquidated damages may be assessed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the extension of the working hours for 2000 Contract A- Dale <br />Street Pathway from a start time of 7:00am to 6:00am on weekdays and Saturday from June 19 to <br />June 29, 2000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mastel and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka & <br />Kysylyczyn and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
