City of <br /> 4SLVII ALL <br /> Minnesota,USA <br /> Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br /> Monday, September 9, 2013 <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approximately <br /> 6:00 p.m., welcomed everyone and made introductions. Voting and Seating Order as <br /> called by Interim City Manager Trudgeon: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> City Attorney Mark Gaughan was also present. <br /> 2. Approve Agenda <br /> Councilmember McGehee moved to reconsider a previous vote on authorizing the Eureka <br /> Recycling contract term for further discussion to extend the contract from three (3) to five <br /> (5) years. Councilmember McGehee opined that all points were not sufficiently covered <br /> in determining the length of the contract term. <br /> Due to the lack of a second, Mayor Roe ruled the motion failed. <br /> Mayor Roe noted removal by staff of Business Item 13.d entitled, "Perform an Abate- <br /> ment for Unresolved Violations of C city Code at 170 County Road B," as the item had <br /> been resolved. <br /> Etten moved, Laliberte seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten: and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced upcoming Roseville Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) <br /> co-sponsored evening seminars scheduled on September 18, September 25 and October <br /> 16, 2013 at the Ramsey County Library with topics related to protecting home values and <br /> making life easier. Mayor Roe noted that the seminars were free, but registration was re- <br /> quired by calling 651/792-7078. <br /> Councilmember Willmus requested that staff make sure those seminars are posted on the <br /> City's webpage or linked as applicable; with Interim City Manager Trudgeon advising <br /> that he would follow-up to ensure they were published and posted in as many media <br /> sources as possible, if not already done. <br />
