<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was dilly held on the 24th day of July 2000, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: Wi ski <br /> <br />Council Member Kysyl;yczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9795 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A UTILITY AND DRAINAGE <br />EASEMENT FOR CARLSON LAVINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2965 <br />PARTRIDGE ROAD (PF3235) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Carlson LaVine has requested the vacation of a 20 foot wide utility and <br />drainage easement lies on property at 2965 Partridge Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Carlson LaVine are the owner's of property located at 2965, Partridge Road, <br />legally described as Lot 4 and lot 5, Block 1, Partridge Industrial Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Engineering Department has reviewed its records and <br />determined the easement is no longer necessary. Further, the Engineering Department has <br />determined that no utility company is currently using the easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the property is surrounded with utility and drainage easements that are used <br />to disburse city and private utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Carlson-LaVine owns two lots divided by the easement and needs the <br />unused easement vacated to develop the property with an office, warehouse, and contractor <br />storage facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the vacation will not require the relocating of any utility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the request <br />and recommended (7-0) to approve the request for vacation of a 20-foot wide utility and drainage <br />easement (legal description attached) lying between Lot 3 and Lot 4, Block 1, Partridge <br />Industrial Park, 2965 Partridge Road, based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 - 3.4 of <br />project report dated July 12,2000 <br />
