���5 <br />�� <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Department Approval <br />� �� C� <br />Item Description: Update on June 21 Storm Recovery Efforts <br />Date: October 14, 2013 <br />Item No.: 14.a <br />City Manager Approval <br />�C�"`'.� /�`���s�_ <br />/ <br />BACKGROUND <br />On June 21 the City of Roseville experienced a storm with high winds which caused damage <br />throughout the City. <br />Departments within the City responded to many emergency requests including several thousand <br />downed trees and wide spread power outages. <br />On June 22 the Roseville City Council declared an emergency declaration allowing for clean-up <br />and extended response to community needs. <br />This report will serve as a final report to council and the community on response, clean-up, and <br />final costs associated with the emergency declaration. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />The total financial impacts of this storm is $460,880.22 <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends council accept the storm report as presented. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Accept storm report as presented. <br />Prepared by: Timothy O'Neill, Fire Chief <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
