<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 28th day of August, <br />2000, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />and the following were absentNone. <br /> <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9803 <br />Relating to a <br />Joint And Cooperative Agreement <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 471.59 permits two more governmental units, <br />by agreement of their governing bodies, to jointly and cooperatively <br />exercise any power common to each of them; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties have entered into this Joint and Cooperative Agreement to <br />develop programs on matters of mutual concern and interest and identify, <br />review and actively oppose proposals that may be in conflict with the <br />interest of the members. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the Joint and Cooperative Agreement as <br />amended and attached hereto. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Wi ski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke & Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against the <br />same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
