Attachment A <br />1 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />2 BETWEEN <br />3 CITY OF R SEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />AND HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF R SEVILLE <br />6 <br />7 This MEMORANDUM RANDUM DF UNDERSTANDING is hereby made and entered into by and <br />between the City of Roseville "the City') and Dousing and Redevelopment Authority in and for <br />the City of Roseville Cthe " of the slates of signatures below. <br />w. <br />10 <br />11 A. PURPOSE <br />12 <br />13 The purpose of this MOO is to rticulate the general understanding about responsibilities of the <br />14 City and the RHRA in regards to redevelopment of parcels legally described on Attachment <br />15 and generally located at the corner of Dale Street and Lovell Ave (referred to as the "Property"). <br />1 <br />17 B. THE CITY OF RD S EVILLE OBLIGATIONS <br />1 <br />19 1. The City will convey the Property to the RHRA by quit claim deed for a purchase price equal <br />20 to the appraised value of land. The allocation of costs associated with demolition of the <br />1 existing building and environmental rerned�ation of the Property will be furthered reviewed <br />22 and discussed by both parties prior to the transfer of the Property. <br />2. The RHRA will, at its cost, obtain -the appraisal of the Property, and the costs of demolition <br />24 and rmediatin will be as mutually agreed upon by the City and RHRA. <br />25 3. Property will be conveyed to the HRA within 60 clays aver the Fire Department vacates the <br />26 Property. <br />27 4. Before expiration of this agreement, the City will rezone the Property up to HI R -1, High <br />28 Density Residential (subject to compliance with all procedures under City ordinances and <br />29 State law), based upon a redevelopment proposal received by RHRA. <br />30 5.
