ACCREDITATION <br />STANDARDS <br />The focus of the Standards is on the operational system overall, rather than on <br />specific elements of services or programs. The Standards are organized into ten <br />major categories: <br />STANDARD <br />Agency Authority Role and Responsibility <br />#1 <br />Planning <br />#2 <br />Organization and Administration <br />#3 <br />Human Resources <br />#4 <br />Finance Management <br />#5 <br />Program and Services Management <br />#6 <br />Facility and Land Use Management <br />#7 <br />Public Safety, Law Enforcement,and Security <br />#8 <br />Risk Management <br />#9 <br />#10 Evaluation, Assessment, and Research <br />Each category is composed of a varying number of Standards. The categories are <br />not weighted as to importance, but all are essential to quality operations. <br />
