<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rd day of October, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Wi ski & Kysylyczyn, and the following was absent: <br />Mastel. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9829 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TAX RATE INCREASE FOR 2000 TAX LEVY, COLLECTmLE IN <br />2001 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, county of Ramsey that <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Auditor is authorized to ftx a property tax rate for taxes payable in the year 2000 that is higher <br />than the tax rate calculated pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sec. 275.078 for the city for taxes levied in 2000, <br />collectible in 2001. <br /> <br />Adoption of this resolution does not prohibit the city from certifying a fmal levy that will result in no tax rate <br />increase or tax rate decrease. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Goedeke and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Maschka, Wiski & Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
