Agenda 6.a. - Attachment C <br />HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT <br /> is entered into as of the __day of ______, 2014 by and between <br />the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the HRA, and the City of Roseville, a Minnesota municipal corporation, hereinafter <br />referred to as the City. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS <br />, the HRA desires to contract with the City for the services of administrative <br />support staff to assist with the planning and operation of the Living Smarter Home and Garden <br />Fair and other HRA administrative functions. <br />NOW THEREFORE <br />, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br />I.Scope of Services. The support staff assigned by the City to the HRA shall perform <br />necessary and requested services relating to the actions and activities of the HRA as outlined <br />below: <br />Assist the Housing Program Manager with the planning and operation of the <br />Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair. <br />Other HRA administrative functions as directed. <br />II. Term. This agreement shall be effective upon the approval of the HRA Board of <br />Directors and the City Council, whichever occurs last, and shall continue for a period of one year <br />thereafter (i.e. January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014). <br /> III. Fee The HRA shall pay the City the amount of $ 30.48 per hour (“Hourly Fee” – <br />salary and benefits) for the services set forth in Provision I above. The HRA shall pay the City <br />the amount due on a quarterly basis by paying the City at the end of each quarter of the term of <br />this Agreement the amount due for such quarter. The HRA’s use of the administrative support <br />staff is estimated to be a total amount of $31,700 (salary and benefits) or 1040 hours during the <br />term of this Agreement. <br />IV. Employment Status and Control of Work. The parties acknowledge that the City is <br />acting as an independent contractor for the HRA under this contract. The City shall supply, at its <br />own expense, all personnel, materials, supplies and equipment required to provide the services <br />contemplated by this Agreement. Any employee assigned by the City to perform work under <br />this Agreement shall remain the exclusive employee of the City for all purposes, including but <br />not limited to wages, salary, benefits and workers’ compensation.
