EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of January 2014 at 6:00 p.m. 3 The following Members were present: 4 and was absent. 5 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 6 A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE DETERMINATION ON A REQUEST TO STAY THE 7 DECISIONS TO TRANSFER AND RENEW AN OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE TO 8 MINNNESOTA FINE WINES & SPIRITS,LLC 9 WHEREAS, on November 25, 2013, the Roseville City Council approved the transfer of a 10 liquor license from Network Liquors to Minnesota Fine Wines & Spirits, LLC and approved a renewal 11 of said liquor license to Minnesota Fine Wines & Spirits, LLC for 2014; 12 WHEREAS, on December 20, 2013, the City of Roseville received notice that Minnesota 13 License Beverage Association and Stephens Liquor Store Inc. requested that the City stay its 14 November 25, 2013 decision; 15 16 WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public meeting on January 27, 2014, to hear and 17 receive evidence on the matter from all interested parties. 18 19 NOW BE IT RESOLVED,based upon the record before the City Council, which includes the 20 staff report and its attachments, the testimony of the interested and adverse parties, the discussion of 21 the members of the Council, and the findings of fact as recited below, the City Council of the City of 22 Roseville, Minnesota,hereby(denies) (grants) (grants, subject to a security in the amount of$ 23 to be provided by way of bond/cash deposit/ to the City Finance Director no later than 24 2014,) the request to stay enforcement of the above-referenced off-sale liquor license. 25 26 Findings of Fact 27 28 29 1. 30 31 2. 32 33 3. 34 35 4. 36 37 5. 38 39
