<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota was du1y held on the lIthe day of December, 2000, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka and Wiski, and the following were absent: <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 9848 <br /> <br />Resolution Appointing the City Manager as the Responsible Authority and Compliance Official <br />for Data Practices <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues S 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended requires that the City of Roseville appoint <br />one person as the Responsible Authority to administer the requirements for collection, storage, <br />use and dissemination of data within the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes S 13.05, Subdivision 13 as amended requires that the City of Roseville appoint <br />or designate an employee of the City to act as the City's Data Practices Compliance Official, to <br />whom persons may direct questions or concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data <br />or other data practices problems; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the law specifies that the Responsible Authority may be the data practices compliance official. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council and the City of Roseville, Minnesota appoints <br />the City Manager as the Responsible Authority and Data Practices Compliance Official for the <br />purpose of meeting all requirements of the Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as amended, and with <br />rules thereto as lawfully promulgated by the Commissioner of Administration. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Mastel, and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka and Wi ski, <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted on the 11th day of December 2000. <br />
