EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was du1y held on the lIthe day of December, 2000, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka and Wiski, and the following were absent: Kysylyczyn. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 9848 Resolution Appointing the City Manager as the Responsible Authority and Compliance Official for Data Practices WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues S 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended requires that the City of Roseville appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to administer the requirements for collection, storage, use and dissemination of data within the City; and, WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes S 13.05, Subdivision 13 as amended requires that the City of Roseville appoint or designate an employee of the City to act as the City's Data Practices Compliance Official, to whom persons may direct questions or concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data or other data practices problems; and, WHEREAS, the law specifies that the Responsible Authority may be the data practices compliance official. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council and the City of Roseville, Minnesota appoints the City Manager as the Responsible Authority and Data Practices Compliance Official for the purpose of meeting all requirements of the Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as amended, and with rules thereto as lawfully promulgated by the Commissioner of Administration. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Mastel, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka and Wi ski, and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted on the 11th day of December 2000.
