Attachment B <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING <br />CHAPTER 208 <br />COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMISSION <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1: A new Title Two, Chapter 208 of the Roseville City Code is added to read as <br />follows: <br />208.01: ESTABLISHMENT AND MEMBERSHIP: <br />There is established a Community Engagement Commission of the City which shall <br />consist of seven members and one vouth member appointed by the City Council. <br />Members shall be residents of the City and appointed for three year staggered terms. <br />Terms of the initial members will be established by the council at the time of their <br />appointment. No member shall serve more than two full consecutive terms. <br />208.02 : ORGANIZATION: <br />The Commission shall annually elect one member to serve as chairperson and one <br />member to serve as vice chairperson. <br />208.03: MEETINGS AND REPORTS: <br />The Commission shall annually adopt a regular meeting schedule and may hold other <br />meetings, as it deems necessary. The Commission may adopt rules for the transaction of <br />business and shall keep a record of its meetings and actions. <br />208.04: DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: <br />The duties and functions of the Commission shall be as follows: <br />� > ; <br />A. Connect and partner with neighborhood, community, educational, business and social <br />services groups and organizations; <br />B. Broaden participation on advisory boards and commissions; <br />C. Recommend wavs to ��im�rove the City's <br />public participation process; <br />
