CHAPTER 202 <br />POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION <br />SECTION: <br />202.01: Establishment and Membership <br />202.02: Organization <br />202.03: Meetings and Reports <br />202.04: Duties and Functions <br />202.01: ESTABLISHMENT AND MEMBERSffiP: <br />There is established a Police Civil Service Commission, the duties of which shall be those <br />provided in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 419. (Ord. 221, 10-22-56) The presence of two <br />commission members shall constitute a quorum for conducting business. Members shall be <br />residents of the City and appointed for three year staggered terms. No member shall serve more <br />than two full consecutive terms. <br />202.02 : ORGANIZATION: <br />The Commission shall annually elect one member to serve as chairperson and one member to <br />serve as vice chairperson. <br />202.03: MEETINGS AND REPORTS: <br />The Commission shall annually adopt a regular meeting schedule and may hold other meetings, <br />as it deems necessary. The Commission may adopt rules for the transaction of business and shall <br />keep a record of its meetings and actions. <br />202.04: DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: <br />The duties of the Police Civil Service Commission shall be those provided in Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 419. <br />
