Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. <br /> a. Andrew Henderson, Little Canada, MN Resident <br /> Mr. Henderson brought a recent issue he'd experienced with the Roseville Police <br /> Department to the City Council's attention related to a citation he'd received and <br /> the City's policy on use of dash cams in squad cars. Mr. Henderson provided a <br /> history of his public information request for information on the City of Rose- <br /> ville's Policy on use of this technology; and asked that the City Council consider <br /> revising or updating their current policy. Mr. Henderson provided various exam- <br /> ples of policies from other jurisdictions to City Manager Trudgeon to disseminate <br /> to the City Council at a future date. Staff will follow up with the council regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports, Announcements and Housing and Redevelop- <br /> ment Authority (HRA) Report <br /> a. Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair <br /> Acting Housing and Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Jeanne Kelsey <br /> announced the upcoming annual Home and Garden Living Smarter Fair on Satur- <br /> day, 2/15/14 at Fairview Community Center, and encouraged the public's attend- <br /> ance. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations and Communications <br /> Mayor Roe announced vacancies in the City Council's various advisory commissions and <br /> encouraged citizens to apply. Mayor Roe noted that the deadline for applications was <br /> March 5, with interviews anticipated the week of March 10, and subsequent appointment <br /> at the March 24, 2014 City Council meeting. Mayor Roe noted several new Commis- <br /> sions being formed: the Community Engagement and Finance Commissions, as well as <br /> an expansion of the Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission by an- <br /> other two members, along with vacancies on other standing Commissions. <br /> Mayor Roe announced an opportunity for students in the ten (10) member city consorti- <br /> um of the North Suburban Communications Commission to participate in that body's <br />
