Councilmember Laliberte opined that she preferred tighter questions <br /> and a larger random sampling. <br /> Councilmember Etten expressed interest in staying as close to eighty questions as <br /> possible, opining that with the elimination of some of the draft questions dis- <br /> cussed tonight, it may be suitable. However, Councilmember Etten further opined <br /> that the most significant question is, if the survey did range in the 90-95 question <br /> range, what would that mean to the questions asked and the information received. <br /> Councilmember McGehee suggested the company return with a tight survey, and <br /> then provide an option with those estimated fourteen (14) additional questions <br /> added back in. <br /> Mayor Roe opined that this seemed to be a reasonable approach. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte concurred, opining that then the City Council could de- <br /> cide if they were willing to pay for those extra questions. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Kathy Klink, 535 Ryan Avenue <br /> Ms. Klink reminded Councilmembers of another question to add that she had pre- <br /> viously mentioned to them, a determination of not just demographics, but the eth- <br /> nicity of the respondents. Ms. Klink opined that this may be as helpful o know as <br /> the age(s) of respondents for the same reason. <br /> Mayor Roe duly noted that request, and staff was so directed by consensus. <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, consideration of Item 14.e entitled, "Discuss <br /> Redevelopment of the Dorso Property, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Assis- <br /> tance"at this time. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> d. Consider Drafting a Request for Proposals for Marketing and Branding <br /> Agency to Lead a Citywide Branding Campaign and to Form a Branding <br /> Subcommittee to Guide the Branding Process <br /> Due to time constraints, Laliberte moved, Etten seconded, TABLING this item to <br /> a date uncertain. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br />
