EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 12th day of February, 2001, at 6:30 p.m.. The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn the following members were absent: Goedeke Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9865 RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR VOLUNTEERS OF THE 2001 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR WHEREAS, the City Council encourages community participation in city-wide events and welcomes the participation and leadership of volunteers at such events; and, WHEREAS, the City since 1997 has sponsored a Home and Garden Fair, as a part of its Housing Program, and as a means of reinvesting in the community; and WHEREAS, on February 3, 2001, the fifth annual Home and Garden Fair was held with the participation of 48 exhibitors and over 1,200 visitors to the Fair; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council hereby acknowledges and wishes to express their appreciation to the volunteers who successfully planned and implemented all the activities to assure the Fair's success: Members of the Home and Garden Fair Committee: Mary Bender, Business Community Volunteer Kathy Deland, Lillie Suburban Newspapers Shirley Friberg, Roseville Resident Polly Heaton, Fairview Community Center Lynnae LeBarron, Roseville Senior Program Lonnie Brokke, Roseville Parks & Recreation Cathy Bennett and Pat Morrison, Roseville Community Development and the many other volunteers who contributed to the 2001 Home and Garden Fair. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel and Kysylyczyn the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 12th day of February, 2001.
