City of Roseville — 2014 Budget <br />Pavement Management Program <br />Purpose <br />The City was finding in the late 70's and early 80's that the community's streets were deteriorating at a <br />steady rate and under the current policy, the problem streets would continue to increase. <br />Scope <br />To begin to bring the City's streets back up to standard, a program was undertaken to reconstruct all 28 <br />miles of "problem" streets within an 8 -year period. <br />Polic <br />The City Council set out in 1986, a paving management program to reduce and maintain the problem <br />streets of the Community to be no more than 10% of the City's total street mileage. <br />Implementation <br />The City Council has undertaken and nearly completed the current scope of work needed to bring city <br />streets up to a standard where the overall rating is approximately 80% where 100% is the highest rating <br />a street can receive. <br />124 <br />
