Though, we knew that my father had already completed all his penalties for the accident, we still paid. My family isn't rich so it took.us a few days to collect all that money. But since it was the holidays, it took a whole week before my father was released. �y then Christmas had passed, not having my whole family together durin.g that time vvas one of the worst things I have ever experienced. I had to make myself strong, though, inside I felt like I was going to burst into tears any moment, and help my mother with everything that had to be done so my father could come home. I can't imagine how children who don't have their parents right now are able to keep going to school and continue with their lives. � This stereotype is causing Mexican illegal immigrants to not be able to become citizens of the United States. When in Article 15 of the Human Rights it clearly states that you have the right to belong to a country and nobody can prevent you, without a good reason, from belonging to a country if you wish, It is also causing families to be separated from one another. �-Iuman Rights Article 16 includes the government of your country should protect your family and its rnembers. Even though, IVlexican illegal immigrants are not Citizens of the United 5tates, the Universal Declaration of I-iuman Rights still apply to
