Culture? <br />You should. Z'ou should be able to take pride in in all those things. 'Those things that <br />make you who you are. You should be able to stand up tall and say who you are with <br />confidence, without fear of sc�meone stri�ping you of that pride or q�estioning yotar <br />equaliiy. �ut you can't. IVot right now, in this society. �ecause there are, unfort�.uiately, <br />vast amounts of prejudice holding you dovvn, burdening you. Stereotypes defy our hu�nan <br />rights and injure and damage our mental being and pride of who we are. �,111l�iddle- <br />Eastern people are terrorists, people who are smar� are nerds, worraen can't play sports, <br />these particular stereoTypes just isn'i right to society, and �erefore, I would like to <br />elaborate in them, so you, the reader, can understand and see frorn the victim's <br />perspective. <br />It's trize that Ivliddle- Eastern people have done acts of harm against us, and we <br />feel constantly threatened, � understand, but the entire race shouldri't be blagned for a <br />certain group's doing. NTiddle- Eastern people can't even go out in public without <br />someone being suspicious of them for terrorist acts. And if they want to travel <br />somewhere or has their presence at an airport, the secizrity take un�aecessary safety <br />precautions that doesn't apply to other c�vilians. l-�nd IViiddle-Eastern people c�r�'t help <br />but feel irzsulted for their race. They can't help but feel that we are criticizing them for <br />their skin color. They can't help but %el disgrace upon their own blood and family. IVo <br />one should ever experience that, as human beings, we have to look out for each other. We <br />should rnever Ynake someone feel that way and judge someone just by his/her skin color. <br />
