RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON OLD HIGHWAY EIGHT FROM COUNTY ROAD C2 WEST TO COUNTY ROAD D WEST BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, Old Highway 8 between County Road C2 West and County Road D West is a Municipal State Aid Highway; 1g AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid 19 Highway funds and the repaving of such roadways must conform to established Municipal State 2o Aid Highway standards; 21 AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Old Highway 8 is not sufficient for on 22 street parking on the west side of the roadway according to State Aid standards; 23 AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the 24 governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet 25 standards for on street parking; 26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that 27 parking is hereby prohibited along the west side of Old Highway 8 from County Road C2 West 28 to County Road D West. 29 30 31 32 The motion was duly seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ; and and the following voted against: . WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
