EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 9th day of April, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn and the following members were absent: none. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9878 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF WEST OW ASSO BOULEVARD AND JOSEPHINE ROAD BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, West Owasso Boulevard from Victoria Street to City limits is a Municipal State Aid roadway; AND WHEREAS, Josephine Road from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue is a Municipal State Aid roadway; AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be reconstructed using Municipal State Aid funds and the reconstruction of such roadways must conform to established State Aid standards; AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on 2 lane roads narrower than 32 feet; AND WHEREAS, approximately 70% of West Owasso Boulevard, and 40% of Josephine Road will be constructed to a width of 33 feet with parking allowed on one side; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council ofthe City of Roseville, that parking is hereby prohibited where street width does not meet State Aid standards for parking on one side; The motion was duly seconded by Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn and the following voted against: none. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
