<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 9th day of April, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following members were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9878 <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF <br />WEST OW ASSO BOULEVARD AND JOSEPHINE ROAD <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Owasso Boulevard from Victoria Street to City limits is a Municipal State <br />Aid roadway; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Josephine Road from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue is a <br />Municipal State Aid roadway; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be reconstructed using Municipal State Aid <br />funds and the reconstruction of such roadways must conform to established State Aid <br />standards; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on 2 lane roads narrower than 32 <br />feet; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, approximately 70% of West Owasso Boulevard, and 40% of Josephine <br />Road will be constructed to a width of 33 feet with parking allowed on one side; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council ofthe City of Roseville, that <br />parking is hereby prohibited where street width does not meet State Aid standards for parking <br />on one side; <br /> <br />The motion was duly seconded by Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn and the <br />following voted against: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
