". <br /> <br />3 z.D ""2- <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEE TIN G OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 10th day of July 2000 at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9790 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF 2668 LEXINGTON AVE. AS PART OF THE <br />HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM TO GEORGE REILING <br /> <br />WHEREAS. The City of Roseville adopted a Housing Replacement Program <br />("Program") within the Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the <br />acquisition of undersized, outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be <br />economically rehabilitated or sold on the open market, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the Program is to replace deteriorating lower value housing <br />on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the goal of the Program is to increase the market value of the property and <br />improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel #02-29-23-33-0049] located at 2668 <br />Lexington Ave. was purchased by the City in 1998 due to its poor condition and undersized <br />lot, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George Reiling has agreed to purchase the parcel from the City for the <br />appraised market value of $44,000, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George Reiling has agreed to use the lot as part of a larger proposed <br />senior housing development on Lexington and Woodhill Drive, will comply with the provision <br />of the Housing Design and Site Criteria and will pursue approval for that development under <br />the PUD process. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council does <br />hereby approve and authorize the execution of a purchase agreement by the City Manager for <br />the sale of Parcel # [02-29-23-33-0049] to George Reiling for $44,000. <br /> <br />Resolution - Page 1 of 2 <br />
