<br />~ <br /> <br />CITY CENTER TASK FORCE <br /> <br />MEETING #3 - TOUR <br /> <br />Saturday, November 7,1998 <br />7:45 a.m. -1:30 p.m.? <br /> <br />MEET AT ARONA COMMUNITY CENTER <br />2800 Arona <br /> <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />Saturday Morning, November 7th: <br /> <br />The purpose of this tour is to show the Task Force examples of public and private efforts to <br />create "city centers" within the Metro Area. A mix of uses, facilities, and ownership (public and <br />private) arrangements will be toured. Kim Way and Bob Bierscheid wiD provide the Task Force <br />with an introduction to each site and ask for reactions from the Task Force. <br /> <br />The bus tour of sites, as shown on the attached outline will begin sharply at 8:00 am. However, <br />the Arona Community Center will be open early (7:45am) so that you may take a "strolling" <br />tour of the existing Roseville facility. <br /> <br />The to..r will include a number of meetings as well as two or three "drive-by" opportunities. <br />Dress comfortably and informally. Coffee and snacks will be available on the bus. <br /> <br />In the week prior to the bus tour, the City Center Task Force is encouraged to individually or in <br />car pools inspect the nearby Community Centers in New Brighton, Shoreview, Maplewood, <br />North St. Paul, and the White Bear Lake Public/Private downtown. <br /> <br />.\ttachmcnts: Q:\CITYCEN1\Agenda (11-7),doc <br />
