<br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the i" day of May, 2001, at <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Goedeke, Klausing, Mastel and <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9884 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />OF 2018 HAMLlNE AVENUE UNDER THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville had adopted a housing replacement program which <br />includes the voluntary acquisition of underutilized and functionally obsolete residential <br />homes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcel [Parcel I.D. 15-29-23-13-0024] located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Hamline and Shryer Avenue includes an 640 square foot <br />dilapidated home on a buildable parcel of square feet (15,150 square feet), and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current owners of the parcel, Michael and Melissa Vrundy <br />approached the City in 1998 and again in 2001 regarding the purchase of their home and <br />an agreed upon negotiated purchase price of $63,000 has been established. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council, <br />acting within its authorization as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br />Roseville, does hereby approve the voluntary purchase of a single family parcel and home <br />[Parcel I.D. 15-29-23-13-0024] and hereby directs the City Manager to purchase said <br />property for residential uses from the Vrundy's for an agreed upon sale price of $63,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Maschka, Goedeke, Klausing, Mastel and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />Q:\Planning Files\3312_2108 Hamline\2018 Hamline Purchase Resolution.doc <br />
