center now does. We've already had a big problem with people from the daycare center cutting
through our development, and we don't want to see this made worse by the new office complex. We
will strongly suggest that the new development have their entry drives configured to direct all their
incoming and outgoing traffic west to Lexington Avenue. We will also suggest that this configuring be
done for the daycare center, as well, so that its employees and customers would be deterred from using
our development as a shortcut. If this happens, we will actually come out ahead since it will greatly
reduce the problem we now have with the daycare traffic.

There's a lot of other issues that will affect our development as a whole and certain residents in
particular. My wife and I are among those who live right across from the vacant lot, so we are very
interested in what happens with the property. We encourage others to get involved and express your
feelings.

There is a hearing about this at a meeting of the city's Planning Commission on Wednesday, January
10 at 6:30 p.m. It will also be discussed at the City Council meeting on Monday, January 22 at 6:30
p.m. Both meetings will be at City Hall (northwest quadrant of Lexington and County Road C). You
may also send a letter before the hearing to City Planner, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,
Minnesota 55113. Or you can fax it to 490-2931 or e-mail: thomas.paschke@ci.roseville.mn.us

If you have questions, call the Community Development Office at 490-2279 and refer to Planning File
#3277.
