SC
also trained California State operating personnel for these stations.

Performed an "anti-knock" fuel additive testing program - the largest and
most sophisticated emission testing program ever conducted by private
industry for the Coordinating Research Council (Committee of
Automotive and Petroleum Industries).

Performed feasibility studies on periodic motor vehicle inspection
programs for the states of Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Michigan,
and Tennessee.

Studied the effects of gasohol on emission performance for the
Coordinating Research Council/Department of Energy.

Designed, implemented, and currently operates, with joint venture partner,
the annual Seattle area Motor Vehicle Emission Inspection Program in the
State of Washington. This program includes the first computerized on-
line database of vehicle registration records, facilitating higher throughput
operations. In October 1989, SC was awarded a three year renewal
contract for the Seattle area program with an expansion of its existing
operations to include the Spokane area.

Designed, implemented, and currently operates the Vehicle Emission
Inspection Program for the State of Maryland. SC was awarded a three-
year renewal in 1988.

Designed, implemented, and currently operates the quality control, referee
station, data collection, and data processing services for the California
Vehicle Emission Inspection Program currently administered by the
Bureau of Automotive Repair.

Implemented and currently operates a referee station program in support
of the Vehicle Emission Inspection Program for the municipality of
