BACKGROUND <br /> <br />This item was continued at the September 5th meeting, and the <br />applicant and his architect were directed to meet with staff and <br />attempt to address concerns that the Commission expressed aboút the <br />exterior building materials and appearance of the original proposal. We <br />have met with them on two occasions, and some modifications have <br />been made to the proposed plans. <br /> <br />2. SUMMAR Y OF PLAN MODIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Site Plan <br /> <br />The future sidewalks for both South Owasso Boulevard and Rice Street <br />have been added to the site plan. The applicant has agreed to make a <br />contribution to the Pathways Fund, equal to $10.00 per lineal foot. <br /> <br />Landscape & Drainage Plan <br /> <br />Two storm sewer catch basins have been added in response to the <br />Engineering Department's recommendation. An additional overstory tree <br />has been added to the Landscape Plan along the Rice Street frontage. <br /> <br />Building Elevations <br /> <br />The building elevations have been changed to incorporate a vinyl siding <br />in two colors and patterns. The elevation now includes a wide, <br />projecting decorative band and divisions have been added between the <br />doors and windows. <br /> <br />3. SUMMAR Y <br /> <br />The changes that have been made represent an improvement over the <br />original plans. The changes to the building elevations, although simple, <br />will convey a clean and attractive image. <br /> <br />"- <br />
