·

July 30, 1990

Mr. Rick Jopke
City of Roseville
2660 civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

Dear Rick:

We are writing to request a release of the 15 foot bikeway easement
on the southerly portion of our property at 2345 Matilda (Lot 9,
Block 1, Hillsborough NO.3, Ramsey county, Minnesota). Please
note that the City of Roseville granted a release on the bikeway
easement on an adjacent property (Lot 20, Block 1, Hillsborough No.
3) on August 22, 1988. A bikeway path had already been routed to
the south of the easement.

We are further requesting a variance on the height of a fence
(eight feet high) to be built on the southerly portion of our
property (approximately 150 feet long) at 2345 Matilda. Part of
this fence would be built on subject easement.

The purpose of the additional height is to prevent vandalism to our
property. The southerly portion of our property borders Materion
Park. In prior years, and again in recent weeks, vandals have
thrown rocks and bottles at the house and broken windows during the
night.

Thank you for your assistance.
sincerely,

~~

Raymond and Mary Turcotte
2345 Matilda
st.
