EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 26th day of November, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Johnson (arrived at 8:30 p.m.), CUshman, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog and the following were absent: None. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8628 ..~ . - J A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING VACATION OF A PORTION OF OWASSO BOULEVARD SOUTH WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of the small portion of right-of-way to be vacated and the topography of the surrounding land it would be beneficial to the public interest to recommend vacating said street; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby recommends vacating the public street over the property described as follows: THAT PART OF OWASSO BOULEVARD SOUTH LYING WITHIN THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINES: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 1, LAKE OWASSO VILLA; THENCE SOUTH 0 DEGREES 30 MINUTES 03 SECONDS WEST (ASSUMED BEARING) ALONG THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE WESTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 1 A DISTANCE OF 8.0 FEET; THENCE EASTERLY AT RIGHT ANGLES TO SAID LOT LINE A DISTANCE OF 55.22 FEET TO A POINT ON THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE CENTER LINE OF VACATED STREET; THENCE' NORTHERLY ALONG SAID SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF CENTER LINE OF VACATED STREET TO A POINT ON THE NORTHEASTERLY EXTENSION OF THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID EXTENSION AND THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 1 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
