This request is to allow the applicant to construct a Jiffy <br />Lube facility on the site formerly occupied by a Total Gas <br />station adjacent to Har Mar Mall. <br /> <br />2. The Planning Commission, on a 4-1 vote, recommended denial <br />of William Sievers request for special use permit for an <br />automobile service use for site plan approval and setback <br />variances at 1526 W. County Road B. <br /> <br />3. The City Council, at the request of the applicant, has <br />continued this matter a number of times, most recently until <br />January 25, 1993. <br /> <br />4. The applicant's discussions with the owners of Har Mar to <br />develop a Jiffy Lube at an alternative site at County Road C <br />and Lincoln Drive, have not been completed. It is unclear <br />what impact this will have on the applicant's plan for the <br />site adjacent to Har Mar. Staff has contacted the applicant <br />to ascertain his current plans and he has requested that this <br />matter be continued another month. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council continue <br />consideration of William Sievers request for a special use <br />permit, site plan approval and variances at 1526 W. County <br />Road B until March 8, 1993 at the applicants request. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to continue consideration of William Sievers request <br />for a special use permit, site plan approval and variances at <br />1526 W. County Road B until March 8, 1993. <br />
